Embroidery Designs

Currently, Anya is turning their drawings and photographs into code for a computerised embroidery machine to generate on shirts, dresses, tapestries and a variety of textiles. They are using these techniques to think about the future of mark marking, making 3D drawings and wearable art. Interested in the intersections between technology and craft, Anya is thinking about the history of craft whilst imagining new artistic languages.

These are a range of Anya's designs, from life drawings, ink face drawings, nature photographs and some are of the V&A's iron works.
